Happy New Year & Photo Blasts From The Past

Happy New Year everyone! Monday night we went over to Patterson and Brad's for a New Year's Eve party and had a super duper time! They had the Rock Band game set up and let me say, everyone was addicted (especially moi). I need this game. I must have it. Big shout out to P-Dub and Brad for hosting a great evening! That night Lottie Sue had a sleepover with Gramma and Grandpa, everything went well and Mom says a highlight from the evening was a shouting match between Lottie Sue and Grandpa. Oh yes, thank you everyone for the emails/phone calls about Lottie Sue. She's doing just great and is once again her very happy self. Other than her new punk haircut and stitches, you'd never know she had surgery last week.

In other news: We totally reworked our study here in the house - new desk, new monitor and a new printer/scanner/copier (in which I am in true love with) that can do everything but make coffee in the morning. I went over to Scripps and FINALLY emptied out my office. I really didn't have much there, just basically photos - it was mostly canned fruit and soup.

Anywho, between that and cleaning out our old desk here at the house I found a ton of photos I hadn't seen in a long long time...and with this new scanner doohickey I am able to scan them in and share with you. OH, we also found this claymation Matt did years ago. We were just dating at the time and it was in the dead of winter in Chicago. Too cold to go out! Here it is, and it's actually not bad...

And here are a few photos I found, when working at Scripps I was able to travel and meet TV people. Oh yeah, check out my blond hair! Now I want to be tow-headed again.

Yes, that is George Jefferson

Me with Rob Corddry and Mo Rocca

Here I am having a casual drink with Ed Helms, a cast member of The Office

I thought I was done with this post and then I found these, they are great!

GranBunny, age 5

Gramma and Grandpa (Matt's mom and dad) on their wedding day

I think this is Dad with a little Michelle

Family photo from the groovy 70s (look at baby Matt!)

The Mowrers in Chicago before they moved to Tennessee

One of my all-time favorite photos, boy Matt catching a fish with a line and a gun

OK, now I'm done. I will continue to scan and share! Peace out.

I love the claymation!! Matt did a really good job with that. I also enjoyed the old photos. You make me want to scan some myself--I have tons of them lying around...

So many things to comment on! I guessed right away who all the old photos were (except granbunny - I don't know her well enough yet). My favorite, though, is baby Matt. You could see the attitude in him already. Happy New Year! Hope LS is still feeling great!
