bb found a pack of photos in the move and gave them to me. they were photos of one prom and they were fine but the above photo was stuck in there. i mean, COME ON - IT'S AWESOME. i love it so much! this was sometime in the late 90s and becce was a hair model for a salon i think. the whats and whens really aren't that important though, it doesn't matter. all that matters is the look - she is serious here, people! seriously lip lined. i am filing this one away for other projects, it's just too good.
i got rowdy really laughing the other day and captured it on video. and while i have about 100 years of video, i have not made the time to make any movies. but i did do something with this short clip today. i sound super annoying (you've been warned) but it's what he likes, can't help it.
here he is again, chilling on the ottoman giving me a smile. he is now six months old, yikes! he is a great kid, we love him bunches. he can almost sit by himself, he'll put his arms out to help stabilize himself but he will fall over. he loves it if you put him in the corner of the couch and give him toys to play with. he grabs EVERYTHING, nothing is safe.
this post has a lot of random stuff in it so just go with me. i also want to point you to megan's blog, she just put it up and she has additional photos of the weekend. one highlight is an algebra test i took (and failed. it was hard.). it's been pretty busy, but all is well. ok, in the next photo tell me if you can spot rowdy.
ooh, here is evidence of my statement about rowdy and the corner of the couch. although there are no toys in this picture you get the idea...
the next few photos were taken by kristina one night as i bathed rowdyman and matt manned the fish. i wish i knew the story for this first shot...
and here we have megan with rowdy one afternoon, just hanging out.
i think these photos are from the next day, ut had a basketball game and peeps came over. it turned into a rock band night with tot (taste of thai) and it was super fun.
at school, lottie sue's class planted flowers and they are going to tend the garden to make them grow. here is what we have as of last week, she doesn't go back for a week and a half so something should be up by the next photo.
and i took this photo of rowdy after i took the shot of the flowers, here he is in the car ready to take lottie sue home.
this past saturday the hussar twins celebrated two years of life at little gym and a wonderful time was had. i wish i had a better photo of emery, she was dressed "suri chic" and i loved her outfit - it was complete with pearls. for real.
(when it was supposed to be the twins only, sigh)
(this girl has some real talent with the gymnastics stuff - she's agile)
see? she's our next mary lou(will was mostly concerned with the bus cake, he talked
about it the whole time but really, who can blame him)
then yesterday it was the 5K, here i am with amy and tommy. tommy ran the whole way with me (all together now again...awwwww) and we even held hands as we crossed the finish line. true story.
i am so slow and it was hard, so many hills! ah, those HILLS. i had to dig DEEP but i did not stop and ran the whole way. that was my goal, to run the whole thing without stopping so YAY ME. although i went to bed around 8 last night i am not that sore today, i was certain i would be a mess.
after this shot was taken we walked out and saw the pink mom from biggest loser. i do not go up to people usually but she was standing right there so i did - she was super nice and said that she and her daughter were home and were just working out trying to lose weight so they could win. i hope they do, go knoxville! i think one of the girls on american idol is from here as well but i am not sure if she is still on the show. i can only handle the try outs then i'm done. anywho, pink mom was nice!
i hosted brunch after the race, here are the participants taking it easy...(side note: megan ran the half marathon so we didn't have her in the photo above).
after brunch it was game time. everyone was feeling good until the last minute of the game. wah...oh well - maybe next year. amy is a spartan and i was SO hoping to win so i could trash talk. but no.
(btw, marty proposed to shawn a few weeks ago - a
super cute couple, we are so happy for them!!!)
and after the game it was time to give rowdy food for the first time. i forgot how messy it is to feed babies at first, geez...messy, but cute. he was down with it.
and then this morning i was dressed and ready to head out to the gym but amy texted me and said they were going to the gymnastics place. i was DOWN with that and we headed over there. it was so much fun. the entire hussar family was there (a grandmother, an aunt, an uncle, cousins - it was great), they are lovely people are in town for the big birthday party.
i lost both of my socks in the foam pit but i did get to jump on the trampoline - it was so much fun. i had to literally take lottie out of there with her kicking and crying. she walked outside with her arms crossed and her bottom lip sticking out.
i couldn't believe she did that - fearless
and now i have a few random photos for you...
harlan with the easter bunny, super cute
phew, that's all i have for now. have a super duper week!
