Hi there, today I put up the pictures from my shower this past weekend. It was thrown by Megan, Mary Ann, Sara, Becce and Kenley and it was a lovely affair! The weather was perfect and the food was delicious. Everyone was very generous and now Lottie is totally prepared - she has more clothes than I do and I'm not kidding. Now it's hard to figure out what she'll wear home from the hospital.
I also went to the doctor this afternoon and I'm happy to report that all of my tests came back normal (my blood pressure has been high) and they doctor was very pleased. The word "fabulous" was used, so I'm very excited but have to keep on laying low. It seems to be working...
I still have pictures of Harlan and max to put up from this weekend, our house was baby central and it was so much fun!

Hi all, I have new pictures from my work shower. I also had a shower at the Venables this past weekend but don't have photos of that yet but once I do I'll put them up, it was a lovely time! My work shower was thrown by Shon, Katherine and Kenley and it was AWESOME! They went all out - it was a total party!
Our friends the Linkers had their 2nd little girl yesterday, Evelyn "Evy" Jenning. She was almost 9 pounds and is gorgeous. Both she and Jamie are doing well!
Update on us, my blood pressure has been acting up and now I'm at home on bed rest. Lottie is doing well but they want me to take it easy. Looks like she is going to arrive early, this week the doctor said that he wants to get two more weeks out it then we'll talk about delivery - so early June. She'll be full term then and Matt and I are very excited to meet her. They did a quick ultrasound and told us that she has "significant hair" - that was the highlight of the day for us!

Today Morrison Hill Christian Church threw a baby shower for me and it was GREAT! It's Matt's parent's church and they certainly showered me with gifts. Lots of cute outfits (Grandmother sewed the cutest outfit!), knitted afghans (hand made with love), teeny tiny socks, our pak-play, blankets, diapers, burp cloths, our diaper dekor, more cute outfits - you name it, they showered me with it! Everyone was very generous and just so wonderful. Thank you to everyone! Now Matt and I just have to find a place for everything...
Yesterday was Annette's bridal shower, it was held at Joanna' house and was just a lovely time. Annette's big day is July 7th and I'm so excited for her!
While I was at the shower, Matt was VERY industrious and painted the nursery. He did a great job and we love how it looks. It's still a work in progress but one of the biggest chores is done. We hope to have it complete in two weeks! It's fun!
On Friday Matt and I had a doctor appointment, she's right around the 54% now (her last documentation in the 92% has been restated due to a growth spurt) and weighs 4 lbs and 12 ounces. They expect she'll be around 7lbs/13 ounces - ish. They did show us that she has hair, or at least a patch of it right on top of her head. I wonder if it's blond like her dad!Wednesday, May 2, 2007

Hi everyone! Becce and Mike sent new photos of Harlan so I'm putting a few up. Could he BE any cuter? The answer is no.
Matt and I go to the doctor on Friday for another ultrasound, we'll report back on Friday!
