Louisville or Bust
Hi all, Lottie Sue and I are headed to Louisville for the week. Matt is in San Francisco so we'll spend time with the Apples. I can't wait to see Harlan crawling around and hopefully I can finish my Christmas shopping. I'll take lots of photos and post when we return. Cera is in charge of Kevin and Ernie, pray for her.

Could Our Tree BE Any Smaller?
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Now let the Christmas season begin! I am very excited since it's Lottie Sue's first Christmas and please let her be one of the first to wish you Merry Christmas...(and bear with us, Matt took a gazillion photos). I found this outfit today at Target and didn't turn back. Lottie sue looks so crazy cute in it, we can hardly stand it.
Alright, back to the entry. It was pretty busy the past few days and here is what we were up to...
First of all, Gramma had a birthday on Thanksgiving but we celebrated on Tuesday. We had a combo Birthday/Thanksgiving dinner and enjoyed muffalatas and pie. It was a very nice time, Gramma got a few musicals she wanted and a digital photo frame that had a ton of photos on it. Here are a few pictures...
The next morning I gave Lottie Sue her first taste of peas. She hated them and gagged with every bite (seriously).
Then of course we had turkey day, we went to visit Grandma and then over to Johnny and Judy's for lunch. Here are a few photos at Grandma's house. She put her tree up three weeks ago, she's serious.
And here are photos of the Thanksgiving lunch over at Johnny and Judy's...the gang consisted of Daddy, Brenda, Keith, Aunt Shirley, Uncle Stan, GranRay, GranBunny, Sara, Matt, Lottie Sue, Johnny, Judy, Benton and me. We chowed down like it was our job.
Judy with Lottie Sue at her recently tilled vegetable garden, next year we'll take the same photo and compare the babe and garden's growth
Last night the Smiths and Gilmores came over to watch the game with us and Sara. We had a GREAT time after the game was over, four overtimes can really take it out of you. But good news, we won! Becce and Mike went to the game in Kentucky, they had a big tailgate and had a good time. The only photo I have of yesterday is me with my yummy cupcakes...they did taste as good as they looked if you were curious.
Then today we picked out or tree then had a tree-trimming party with Sara. The tree is cute but it is so SMALL. I mean it's tiny. It looked bigger when we picked it out but now it's funny to us.
And here are some random photos...

Getting Elfed Isn't So Bad...
Um, THANK YOU LINKERS. I am obsessed.
We've been elfed...
So were the Apples...
And then the Smiths...
I'm doing this for everyone I know.

A Big Announcement from the Carsons
ANNOUNCEMENT!!
Yesterday Josh and Lara told us they are expecting - I AM SO EXCITED!!! Lara is due next June and we could not be happier for them. How wonderful! So now Max is going to be a big brother!
We (barely) beat Vanderbuilt yesterday - phew. The weather so so great yesterday, it was fun to bundle up. We did our usual awesome tailgate and we had a great time. This was our last home game so our last tailgate...until next year my friends...
We had a babysitter for the babies, and here are a few photos after we got home...
And here are two random photos of Lottie Sue at the grocery store. I take the camera everywhere and while it might be weird to take photos at the grocery store, I do it anyway. This blog is just one big photo essay of our family. It's way easier than scrapbooking.
Alright, well let me say again CONGRATS to the Carsons! It was just so neat to find out they have another little one on the way. Thanksgiving is this week and you know I'll take a million photos since it's Lottie Sue's first big holiday. On Tuesday we're celebrating Thanksgiving with muffalatas - not turkey) and also Mom's birthday - fun! Then on Thursday we head out to Johnny and Judy's house to spend the day with my side of the family. We're looking forward to it. More to come, I hope all is well with everyone!
