three minutes & bows! bows! bows!

I was restocking the closets the other day and the UPS guy came to the door. We chatted for maybe three minutes and this is what Lottie Sue did in that time...

this could have been a lot worse but she kept it contained

Lottie Sue is such a shag dog! Her hair hangs in her face and she will not let me keep a barrette in her hair. I put it in, she rips it out - then repeat. So I gave up (I am not ready to give her bangs, it's not my current "vision"). I did take her for a trim the other day and it looks super cute. Cindy Lou trimmed up the back her hair curled up big time! We thought her hair was wavy back there but it is Curl City. LS was so great during the whole thing as well. She sat in the chair and was very good, she was pleasant and sweet. Her visit ended with a shoulder ride through the salon with Cindy Lou, it was pretty cute.

UPDATE: I am very happy to report that Lottie Sue will let me put bows in her hair (not plain barrettes, bows only) as of yesterday. I haven't been trying bows since she was so against the barrettes. But I swear this child is all girl, she wears necklaces ALL DAY and now when I do her hair she tilts her head to side once I put the bow in - likes she's posing and enjoying her loveliness. Today her bow fell out of her hair when I put her in the car seat and she started yelling "bow! bow! bow!" - seriously, all girl.

Here are two photos of Lottie this morning before MDO - notice the giant bow! The Muppets took over the Today Show this morning and she was loving it. I was too, actually.

OK, that's all for now. Enjoy the Lottie Sue-centric post!
