the ifican'tseeyouthenyoucan'tseeme game
Matt and I are happy to know that baby boy is looking great so far! We've had two anatomy ultrasounds and they don't see any head problems like Miss Thang. I can finally feel somewhat confident in this pregnancy for the boy, my nerves have been a little stressed but I'm feeling good now! Check him out! These photos are from last Friday, the first one looks like he's sticking his tongue out. What a joker!
And here we go with the photo overload section of the post. We went to San Destin over Memorial Day with the Apples. We had so much heavy rain the first day and 1/2, I thought the sun would never come out - but it did and thank goodness. And Matt was lucky enough to catch the horrible stomach bug I had the day before we left (big shout out to Sydney and Megan for helping with Lottie Sue - I was worthless) and spent two days in bed. Nice. BUT we still had fun once the rain went away and Matt was all better.
Lottie Sue and Harlan got along very well, we had a few fights and bites but for the most part they were great together. Instead of my gabbing on and on, I'll just show you.
We went over to Mike's parent's house for dinner one night. Within 2 minutes of arrival they found the pool and were stripped down. They stayed in there the whole time.
Harlan started blowing bubbles and Lottie Sue thought that was hilarious. The first photo is them enjoying a laugh over it then the next is their bubble symphony.
If it got quiet in the condo you could bet they were playing on the phones. I asked them who they were calling and it was either BB or GranBunny.
Here are some beach photos from one day, Harlan WAS NOT a fan of any part of his body touching the sand for a day or so. He would literally crawl on you like a monkey if he feared his feet were going to touch sand. But he got over that eventually and was all over the place.
These were taken one evening at sunset.
Here are a few of the kids running around, playing with sticks.
The next two photos represent life with a 2 year-old.
This is a great three-part shot. I don't know why Lottie Sue was bullying Harlan, who knows.
Here is Lottie Sue shoving her face full of wafers on the way home.
We went up to the lake this past weekend to visit with BB and GranDaddy. And I am serious when I say that Lottie Sue was in the pool in less than one minute of arrival. I had to hold her down to put her bathing suit on.
I leave you with these photos of Lottie Sue yesterday. It was nap time and she wanted to make her own bed instead of going to her room.
Lottie Sue turns 2 on Friday - CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!?!?! And speaking of birthdays, Happy Birthday Mike! June is birthday month fo sho - today is Mike, tomorrow is GranBunny, Thursday is Megan, Friday is Lottie Sue with BB and PaPaw having a birthday next weekend. Also Holly and Jack Case both have birthdays next week. Phew!
OK, I'm outta here. Post to ya later!
