Well Miss Lottie Sue is officially a one-year old! Matt and I are so proud of her, a year ago today was a pretty scary time and just look at her now! She is a joy, she is happiness.
She had a doctor's appointment early in the day and was given one shot. She screamed bloody murder when it happened but once you pick her up she is totally fine. She weighs 28 pounds and 6 ounces (and is 30 inches long, putting her in the 79% for height) - her doctor said we might want to switch to 2% milk...burn. He showed me a chart of acceptable weights and she is wayyyyy out of bounds. No worries though, once she is moving around she'll slim up a bit. For now it means more veggies and less tortellini (sad, it's her fave). Her doctor said that she is a beautiful little girl who is doing just great (said with much enthusiasm) after somewhat of a rough start. What a difference a year makes!
Let me share with you a few photos taken yesterday...
After her appointment, Uncle Johnny and Aunt Judy had a birthday surprise planned. They gave Lottie Sue an ice cream cake - plus a baby doll and outfit!
And here are photos of Lottie Sue and chocolate. She is in love.
When we got home there was a big box outside for Lottie from the Apples. They gave her a baby doll bed, another baby to add to her family plus a neat t-shirt.
Here we have Lottie chewing on the Nemo that was on her ice cream cake.
And for Megan's birthday some of us chipped in with Tommy to buy her a Marc Jacobs bag. Here is a photo and please note that Megan made this dress herself. She couldn't be stylin' any more than is at this moment...

This is just a photo I took of Lottie Sue eating strawberries, pure happiness.
These were taken this morning during breakfast. Lottie Sue is scheduled for a hair cut this afternoon. Nothing drastic, her hair needs to be fixed in the back. Her head has been shaved twice in different areas for surgeries and it's starting to look weird. I'm thinking a pixie cut will fix it until it grows into a bob. And the thought of her with a bob haircut makes me smile, how CUTE.
OK, tonight we celebrate Megan's birthday with a dinner then tomorrow Lottie Sue has TWO birthday parties. Due to her popularity we had to divide and conquer. A million photos to follow...
