easter weekend with lottie sue and harlan & so much more!

Happy Easter!

Well, it was Lottie Sue's first Easter and let me say - she was so cute. The Apples were in and it was so neat to see the little ones with each other. They got along quite well. Harlan is a monkey, or acts like one. He crawls around/over/under everything.

I have over 50 photos I'm posting so forgive me for not captioning each one. I'm funny but my brain is running on empty...So here you'll find Easter photos, then lots of photos from the Apples trip to Hawaii, Harlan's 1st Birthday cupcake and then loads of other recent photos from the past few weeks. Most of these photos are of Lottie Sue and Harlan - what a treat!
OK, here we go...

We had the babes on the couch, and then BB read a story - they loved it (books are high on the list of favorites things with both of them)

Matt and Lottie Sue, my favorites

These are photos taken at Brunch on Sunday with the family...

Becce with Harlan, his seersucker suit was crazy cute

Aunt Judy with Lottie Sue (LS is desperately trying to break into Harlan's goldfish supply)

Lottie Sue with her GranBunny

Lunchtime

GranBunny and GranRay with their great-grandkids

Harlan shovels cheesecake into his mouth

MORE cheesecake

And here we have photos of the kids playing with each other...

A meeting of the minds...

Additional shots...

Matt and LS

Lottie Sue's the name, clapping is my game

Bath time is fun time

We also visited with Grandma the other day...

Grandma had Easter gifts for the kids, a stuffed animal and an outfit

And now welcome to the Harlan section, I took these photos from Becce and Mike. They had so many good ones and I'm putting a ton of them up for your viewing pleasure. Harlan turned 1 on March 1st...

Too bad it wasn't cheesecake

And here are photos from their big trip to Hawaii...Becce said that Harlan discovered how to flush the toilet and did it all the time (at the same time discovering toilet paper).

And this photo is in Louisville when they got back, they had 10 inches of snow! Harlan loves to sled, it's evident by the huge grin on his face.

Whee!

Shon and Chris stopped by on Easter, too bad it was right before LS's nap time. She was a little bit upset...

Poor baby

PHEW - that is a lot of photos. OK, I hope everyone had a nice weekend and happy hump day!

Lottie Sue And Her Swing, Harlan Says Aloha & The Gilmores Kick It On Rock Band

Today Lottie Sue turns 9 months old today, and yes - we cannot believe it. These babies grow so fast, it's scary. She has her checkup tomorrow so I'll have her stats and will report back but let me tell you that she is a ton of bricks. She is SOLID, made of steel. She is so great, we love her to pieces.

There has been a great purge here at the house, this is main reason I didn't do a post earlier this week. We've cleaned out every closet, the garage - everywhere!!! It has been a labor of love but I am so happy it's done. I have been a maniac the past week, there are labeled tubs ready for the attic and all donations have been dropped off at Goodwill. It feels so good to purge, I don't how we end up with so much stuff. But in all of the sorting I did find an awesome photo of Matt from high school, I'll scan it in and have it up in all its glory very soon...

Here are a few photos of Lottie Sue from the past few days...I bought a swing but then we didn't have a suitable tree. So in the meantime Matt hooked it up to the front porch. Lottie Sue really loves to swing, it was such a nice day - I want it to be SPRING!!!!

Look at these chunk legs, wow

Becce sent this photo from poolside in Hawaii. Harlan slept the entire way from LA to Hawaii. How awesome is THAT?

Aloha!

And here are a few photos I took tonight, this was before book and bedtime...

And this past weekend the Gilmores came in for a family birthday - we were able to see them one night! It was so great to see them, we miss them so much!

Shon and Lottie Sue

And of course you know we would play Rock Band - Chris sand Shon are naturals

Shon drumming it up

Megan and Tommy went to a dinner earlier that night and got to play dress up

Tommy feeds LS her delicious dinner

And it was this time last year that Matt and I took our last trip sans baby to Miami - here are a few photos from the trip. I was 6 months pregnant at the time.

The view from our hotel

And alligator we saw in the Everglades

Here we are in South Beach, way overdressed we found out

Oh boy, I need to go watch the game. Right now Florida is womping us, but it's early in the game. **UPDATE - We pulled it off and won! We are the SEC Champs! The first time in a long time!

Oh yeah - Megan let me know that a Miss Lucy Venable entered the world this afternoon! Congrats to Kim and Clay - I can't wait to meet her!!!
