lottie sur mower has a recital then turns three, cj is in the house & rowdy HATES life jackets but lottie LOVES to go beep beep

lottie sue turned three yesterday! we had a wonderful birthday party at johnny and judy's house. we also celebrated granbunny and bb's birthday! mike's birthday was earlier this week along with megan's and we have papaw's coming up next weekend (along with jack and holly's birthday party) - PHEW! tis the season for birthdays! i will have photos from all the celebrations in the next post, so you have that to look forward to...

anywho...matt made another video for lottie's birthday - get out your kleenex! i apologize if you can't see the video. i uploaded it to crackbook and we must be friends if you want to view it. i think.

she IS everything and a bag of chips

and now other exciting news...i give you lottie sur (not sue) mower (not mowrer), ballerina extraordinaire.

s to the u to the r

we thought sue was an odd name to get wrong, most people get mowrer wrong but on yes - that happened as well! so i guess she is lottie sur mower.

and no, we don't do lawns

and here we have miss thang making her class photo interesting, notice she is the only one NOT doing the pose.

one of these kids is doing her own thing...

lottie sue had her ballet recital on saturday and i have tons of photos for you but i am going to do this chronologically, you will have to wait but anticipation is a wonderful thing - yes?

first, if you have an iphone please get the hipstamatic app. it. is. awesome. you can take super cool photos and i love it. they look old school. you will see more of these below.

she uses both hands currently, still
not sure if she is a southpaw or not

also, last week shon and christopher came down for basically a turn-around trip, but we were happy to see them! check out this kid. ladies, get in line.

proof it is possible for a baby to be THIS cute

patterson came over for a visit with cassady, i hate it but i didn't get any shots of p-dub and her pregnant belly but take my word she is super duper cute. and lottie thinks that cassady is cute, she was giving him bear hugs and we had to tell her to settle down.

easy, girl

lottie sue telling me that these two are HER babies

here we have cj packed up and ready to make the trek back home. rowdy looks on...

two cuties

big brown eyes

and here we have a random shot of rowdy reading his book. he is also drooling.

and here we have rowdy working the sippy cup. most of the time it ends up on the floor but a guy has gotta start somewhere.

what is thing thing again???

bb came over last week and i took this shot, just the girls hanging out. doing girl things like crossing their legs.

so ladylike

rowdy fell asleep on me when i was trying to burp him, he must have been tired. i snapped this shot, isn't he cute?

zzzzzzzzzzzz

ok, here are a few more hipstamatic photos. lottie was dressed for her ballet rehearsal.

instant art

here's a regular photo, she loves loves loves ballet. she started a summer program of pdo and i was talking to her about going. first, she asked me if it was a princess school. then i said that it wasn't and then she asked me if it was a ballerina school. i had to break it to her that not everyone would be princess ballerinas but she could be one if she wanted. that seemed to work.

a real ballerina

here is a shot of june, iris and lottie sue outside the auditorium last week.

yep, it's was just a lot of cute little ballerinas running around

and now we hit recital night. here's lottie in front of the banner doing her own pose (see class photo above).

love her

here she is on the way there, we were at a stop light and i snapped this one. she got to wear lipstick and blush for the performance, i cannot tell you how excited she was.

feathers, feathers EVERYWHERE

the recital was over three hours long...yeah. three hours. i did run into our neighbors from morristown though - so neat! shout to kerri and brooke! btw to kerri, i could tell right away which dancer was kayla and she was honestly the best one in each of her routines - the girl is GOOD!

we had a lot of good sports there (lots of grandparents and great-grandparents), to say the least. here we have rachel, megan (honorary ballerina) and myself.

taking photos is prohibited but we snuck one, did it without the flash so no one knew. you can see lottie sue there. she's in the front there under the giant arrow.

can't miss her

and we had no idea what she was going to do up there. we were so happy to see that she did the dance, we were very proud of her! and i didn't cry, but thought i would.

afterward the recital she came out to meet her public. she was WILD and started running around everywhere. the attention went to her head. you will see in the series of photos how she gets flowers, then goes bonkers and she even rams into one unsuspecting bystander.

she did calm down for hugs and kisses though. she is a sweet girl.

and then a few photos with her mommy and daddy.

that was one fun night, lemmetellya. the next morning we feed rowdy pears for breakfast

yuck, i say

and then went up to the lake for memorial day festivities. here is a shot from the boat ride, norris lake is where it's AT.

so pretty and nice clean water

rowdy HATED wearing his life jacket, he cried a lot but got over it some.

rowdy about to drive the boat with grandaddy

there was a lot of trying to distract him to make him happy

lottie sue and daddy share a laugh

we rode over to pat and kathy's house to see what was happenin'.

lottie sue went a little crazy honking horn,
she thought it was soooooo hilarious

rowdy plays with his giraffe with aunt
kathy and bb chat with the folks there

the next morning i took this shot of rowdyman outside after breakfast. full belly makes a happy baby.

breakfast was yummy guys, thanks!

it's coffee time!

enjoying the view

this is how to get lottie sue's heart, give her popsicles. she finds them delicious and acts like it's christmas morning every time.

one of her favorite things

alrighty, that's all i have for now. i am working on another post already that has all of last week in it. it's been busy round here!

i will leave you with a suggestion, i think this granola is great. it's very inexpensive and it is very crunchy without being too hard. i eat it with yogurt and berries every single day.

buy this at kroger. now!

enjoy your day! buh bye!

ps - i want to say WAY TO GO to the palmer family, they are part of the leukemia and lymphoma's team in training program (the leukemia and lymphoma organization that uses sporting events as a symbol of endurance and hope, honoring leukemia patients and their families) and are riding 100 miles today at lake tahoe. they are doing this race with the names of my mom and one miss isabel johnson on their shirts to honor them. michael, the dad, celebrated his 10-year anniversary of being cancer free this year. i think at this moment in time they have less than 30 miles to go. YOU GUYS ROCKS!!!

Great post, love it! I especially like how LS has the hugs for Cassady. Give him another few months, and I'm sure he'll be the one chasing and hugging her. I could totally see him going for the "older" girls =)
