Hi everyone! We spent last week up at the lakehouse with GranDaddy and BB, it was nothing but fun in the sun. I'm feeling MUCH better and look forward to being home and getting into a normal routine. I still have to go to the doctor's office a few times per week until they get my blood just right but they feel I should be stable here very soon. Yesterday I ran errands and it was the first time I've been out in weeks, it was fun. I'm going through all of the cards/gifts that we've received and it's overwhelming! The HGTV consumer marketing group sent over a HUGE (it arrived and was the size of our ottoman and I'm not kidding) basket full of bathtime goodies (slippers, soaps, tea - um you name it, there were about 50 items in there). I can't say enough how awesome everyone has been, you make recovering a breeze!
Lottie is doing well, please check out the photo area for pictures of her in her red bikini (compliments of Auntie B). I had no idea how much babies sleep but we're getting into our routine with her. She's a good sleeper so we're getting up just once in the middle of the night. She's becoming more aware of her surroundings every day and she's really just a joy to be around.
welcome to the mowrer family blog! you'll be able the follow the chronicles of lottie sue and rowdy here, as well as see what the rest of the family has going on. enjoy.

reetings everyone! Lottie Sue had her first pool experience this past weekend at BB and GranDaddy's lake house. She absolutely loves the water, she'll float and kick around and seems pretty happy doing so. She was sporting her other bathing suit (compliments of Auntie Allison) and looked adorable.
She's growing like a weed and this past week she's really started to look at things and focus on your face. Ceiling fans and lamps really get her attention. It's crazy how fast it goes, it's cliche to say but very true.
I'm also doing well, I'm feeling better every day and my energy level is way up. It's nice to be able to do things once again and I'm really enjoying my time with Lottie Sue. Alrighty, time to feed the monster - talk with every one later!

It's me - Jen! I was able to come home from the hopsital yesterday (looks like the third hospital stay in a month is the charm...) and I'm sooo happy to be here with Matt and Lottie. The doctors are confident that the water from my lungs is gone and more importantly the blood clots they saw in my lungs have now been dissolved by medication. I still have a lot of medicine/tests to go through in the next few months but that's totally doable. Now I just have to take it easy to get back to my old self.
I want to thank everyone for being so great/wonderful/thoughtful during this crazy month. The cards/flowers/food/gifts/calls/well wishes have really been to much and Matt and I are well aware that we have the best friends and family on the planet. You guys gave us comfort and strength in your caring and we are truly grateful for that. We can't thank you enough. And a BIG thank you to Becce and Cera - they stayed over and cleaned, cooked and watched over Lottie the time I was in the hospital last week. I LOVE you!
We are looking forward to being "normal" and being at home with Lottie Sue. Lottie is doing well and is growing every day it seems! She such a blessing to us, we are so very happy.
Alrighty, I'm going to sign off for now and we'll try to update more photos this weekend. We are headed up to the lake house for the holiday, it will be Lottie's first time in a swimming pool. She has a red bikini that Becce bought that is way to cute...
OK, I'm going to go check on the little one...
